Cataract Surgery
Cataract is clouding of the lens in the human eye. Human eye is able to see clearly due to light being focused on retina by the crystalline lens. Due to aging or other trauma the protein in the lens gradually gets denatured causing the loss of transparency of lens fibers.
Cataract is easily curable by a small eye surgery in which the clouded lens is easily removed and replaced by an artificial lens which helps in focusing the light again on the retina and person is able to see clearly.
Glaucoma Surgery
Glaucoma is a group of disorders that causes damage to the Optic nerve. Optic nerve carries the signal from the retina to the brain enabling us to see. Each optic nerve consists of millions of nerve fibers which collectively form the Optic nerve and as it passes out of the bony orbit to pass towards the Visual cortex.
